The previous post and my tax rate (25%) will consume half my income. Good thing public employees don’t live in our towns and cities.

Ok, I just played with one at the local Verizon store and am thinking that “Yes, I will have one!” The only pitfall is the price $799 no contract & $599 with a 2 year agreement ($20/month is the cheapest plan). I will probably wait to see if there is an equity adjustment a bit down the road.

Since I started with the original Droid and no Droid 2 Global, I have been really satisfied (except for that whole battery thing.) The phones do alot, the XOOM will do the same but be more EYE friendly. There is a Kindle app for Android, so if you are thinking of one of those, I may consider the XOOM which will do more. It does have WIFI, so if you don’t want to worry about a contract, you can use it like all those IPad users out there.

Now just to see if I can put Honeycomb 3.0 on my Dell Latitude 2100 netbook. Currently its holding Windows XP and Ubuntu Netbook in a dual boot format…why not try and make it a triple boot? The XOOM has a dual core 1 Ghz processor, so I’m curious how my 2100 would handle the OS.

I’ll let you all know what comes up…

With the new regulations that went into effect Jan. 1 2011, it was known that it would affect how you purchased over the counter drugs using a Benny Card. The way the law reads, you can purchase over the counter with a prescription at stores with a pharmacy…and you can purchase over the counter drugs at a store WITHOUT a prescription at a store with a pharmacy and a majority of the sales are in pharmaceuticals.

Evidently Walgreen’s doesn’t meet that criteria. I just bought some Dayquil (OTC on the shelf) and some MucinexD (OTC from behind the counter cause it contains pseudoephedrine, a meth ingredient). The OTC behind the counter was Benny OK (meth component) and I had to pay for the Dayquil (no meth components) out of my pocket or waste 10 minutes for the pharmacist to OK a prescription…oh and this is a benny card that I am required to have because Pawlenty mandated we put dollars in an HSA.

So I am generally healthy and can’t use the money I am required to take out of my paycheck for things that I should be able to…what the fuck is going on here! Don’t blame Obama-care cuz what got passed is what the Repugnations originally proposed when single payer was still an option on the table. Gotta love the Fascist state we live in…Oh T-paw also wants to take away my pension. If that happens the gov’t and taxpayers can kiss my lilly white ass.
